Miami's Luxury-Retail Summer: New Flagships and a Watch Salon
From ALAÏA and Fendi to David Yurman and Jaeger-LeCoultre, Miami's Design District and Bal Harbour kept adding high-end addresses.

Miami's standing as a global luxury-shopping capital keeps growing, one flagship at a time. Over recent weeks, the city's Design District and Bal Harbour Shops have added a run of high-end addresses, cementing South Florida as a priority market for the world's biggest houses.
The French house ALAÏA opened a stand-alone Design District store, while Fendi unveiled an expanded, Roman-inspired boutique spanning thousands of square feet. Jeweler David Yurman debuted a flagship with interiors by architect Andrea Tognon, and the Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre opened The Salon at The Moore ahead of a full Design District boutique — a nod to the neighborhood's growing appetite for fine watches as well as fashion.
Why brands keep choosing Miami
The openings reflect a durable shift: record tourism, a wave of wealthy new residents, and a year-round social calendar have made Miami one of the most attractive luxury markets in the Americas. For shoppers, the payoff is an increasingly dense cluster of flagship stores; for the city, it is further proof that its style economy now rivals its beaches as a draw.
