St. Petersburg's Long-Awaited Central Park Food Hall Opens

After years of rumor and delay, St. Petersburg's biggest food-hall bet has arrived. Central Park St. Pete opened its doors on February 1, a five-story downtown destination built around nine dining concepts, four bars, event spaces, a boutique, and a members-only club.

The first concepts to debut included Palm Avenue Deli and Constellation Burger, with more kitchens rolling out in phases. The scale of the project — a vertical hall stacking restaurants, bars, and gathering spaces under one roof — is unusual for the Tampa Bay area and reflects downtown St. Pete's rapid growth into a genuine dining and nightlife hub.

A city on the rise

The opening capped a busy stretch for the city, which has added a wave of ambitious restaurants and drawn Michelin attention in recent years. For locals, Central Park offers a one-stop crawl through a range of price points and cuisines; for the neighborhood, it is another anchor in a downtown that keeps reinventing itself.
