Florida's wellness industry is chasing a bigger promise than relaxation: more years of healthy life. Across South Florida this summer, a growing roster of "longevity" clinics — blending advanced diagnostics, aesthetics, and preventive medicine — has been opening or expanding, turning health optimization into one of the region's fastest-growing luxury categories.

Among the names driving the trend, Longevitas Health has been preparing a flagship wellness-and-longevity club in Miami's Brickell district, while Humanaut Health, which opened in Palm Beach Gardens, has been extending toward a Miami location in Coconut Grove. In Naples, Fountain Life operates a large facility devoted to early disease detection and health optimization.

A new kind of wellness spending

The clinics market a mix of ancient healing traditions and cutting-edge testing — full-body scans, bloodwork panels, hormone and metabolic programs — often at premium prices. Their spread across Miami, the Palm Beaches, and the Gulf Coast reflects both Florida's affluent, health-conscious newcomers and the state's broader positioning as a wellness destination. For the industry, longevity has become the phrase of the year; for consumers, it is a reminder to read the fine print.
